Contingency Planning

Each college, department and busines unit is expected to complete and/or update a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) as part of a campus wide effort to assess critical business functions, interdependencies, and address contingency planning challenges. A Business Impact Analysis (BIA) is conducted and a risk assessment produced to inform business continuity planning decisions following completion of COOP plans. Then, Business Continuity Planning conducts an exercise to validate the plan and identify improvement areas.
